The history of Mommy's Mistake is a short one. Justin Order was a hired studio hand during the LOHNER sessions & got aquanted with Randy Lohner, founder of Stray Arrow Productions, Ltd., as well as being introduced to Milo McGovern, head of Stray Arrow Productions, Ltd. at the time. Justin's time around the studio provided opportunities, when the studio wasn't in use, to record his own material. It was during this time that Justin met Izzy who had just moved into the area, and because of Izzy's flexable schedule, the two wound up writing & recording 5 songs. McGovern happened to come into the studio the day the two were listening to the playbacks, and became actively involved with the duo. He called up a local drummer named Al Borsion and set up a jam session. Unlike most 1st sessions, everything clicked and the three began talking about forming a band. McGovern had a guitar player named Kurt Eous, whom he had been interested in signing to Stray Arrow Productions. After Eous came into the fold, McGovern signed the group and Mommy's Mistake was born. It was to be McGovern's last gig with Stray Arrow.

After recording a 6 song demo with Randy Lohner producing, the group hit the streets to begin making a name for themselves. In 3 months the group had managed to destroy 2 clubs and piss off every booking agent in the area. So with live gigs unavailable, the group is now busy writing songs for their 1st full length release.
